Research and development department of Natanz steel industries and iron mill complex has a very valuable and decisive role. Because the most important key to success in this industry is new ideas which are created in research and development (R & D) department and this is quite evident in variety of products and implementation of innovative ideas.
Research and development department of Natanz steel industries and iron mill complex is the initial core of research activities in the industry. The development mainly follows activities such as steel products quality improvement, process optimization, technology transfer and attraction, acquisition of technical knowledge to produce steel products, etc. in the context of the industry owners’ policies.
In line with the overall strategies of the company and the development and optimization of affairs, research and development department of Natanz steel industries and iron mill complex currently pursues the following objectives:
* Under consideration projects and setup of the pellet and sponge iron production with the
capacity of 2,000,000 tons per year
* Construction of 400 MW combined cycle power plant
Starting up the ironstone and sponge iron production project as the raw materials to produce ingots and supplying the ingots required to apply in hot rolling line bar and complete the production chain until the production of final steel products, Steel Natanz complex intends to increase its range of industrial products and thus to take effective steps to achieve imports satiety.
